| Action Essay Scholarship Program |

Inc’s Action Essay Scholarship Program will award five annual scholarships for each Inc program city. Inc participants may choose from four action essay approaches (Print Journalist, Creative, Journal Entry and Traditional Essay) to address questions provided for their age group.
These questions include topics related to the role of the newspaper in their home, neighborhood issues, elections and voting as well as public comment during public meetings.
Awards in each of the program’s five categories may be used for any education-related expense.
In all cases, except for the purchase of school supplies, Inc will pay a vendor selected by the family. Gift cards will be provided to families wishing to buy school supplies.
